(syn. Aloiampelos tenuior) A spreading, branching Aloe with showy spikes of yellow flowers in mid-summer. Nice in a large pot on a sunny patio. Survives happily under cover down to just above freezing. Worth trying outdoors in very mild gardens in very free draining soil and covered with fleece in winter.

Unless otherwise indicated our plants are supplied in the following pot sizes according to category. Dimensions refer to either the pot diameter (cm) or volume (litre);

  • Herbs: 9cm (approx. 0.5 litre)
  • Hardy Shrubs and Climbers: 1.5 or 2 litre

  • Dormant Bulbs, Tubers and Bare-root perennials come either bagged or wrapped without a pot

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall.
