Large shrub with narrow silvery leaves on arching stems. Pendant racemes of scented mauve flowers in early summer which are loved by butterflies. These weigh the stems down, enhancing the cascading effect. Prune immediately after flowering, removing flowered shoots. Sun and well-drained soil. Can be grown as free standing specimen as you would a tree
