A traditional hardy annual with orange-yellow daisies in summer.  This herb has been used in England since the 13th Century. The flowers and leaves are edible and can be used in salads and to flavour many dishes as a substitute for saffron. It is thought to have many healing properties and is still used in beauty products such as hand creams.
