Syn. Clematis fargesiodes or C. potaninii 'Summer Snow'. Lovely, long-flowering cultivar with masses of slightly fragrant, white flowers to 1.5in across from June to September. Vigorous so needs reasonable space. Excellent for an arbour or pergola. Suitable for any aspect of wall but particularly good on a sunny wall. Flowers best on new growth so cut hard back in spring. Plant with the base shaded from hot sun. hybrid of C. potaninii var. potaninii and C. vitalba.
