A small tree or large shrub famed for its large fragrant golden yellow fruits which ripen in the autumn. Famously used in Quince Jelly, but can be used in pies, tarts etc. Full sun in normal well-drained soil. 3 year old bush form.

This item must be collected from our nursery or delivered locally by our own transport as it is too large to ship via courier.

Unless otherwise indicated our plants are supplied in the following pot sizes according to category. Dimensions refer to either the pot diameter (cm) or volume (litre);

  • Exotics/Conservatory & House Plants, Succulents: mostly as young plants in 9cm (approx. 0.5 litre)  or 1 litre pots
  • Hardy Perennials, Ferns and Grasses: 1 litre (approx. 12cm diameter)
  • Herbs: 9cm (approx. 0.5 litre)
  • Hardy Shrubs and Climbers: 1.5 or 2 litre 
  • Potted Bulbs: variable- please see "Quantity or Pot size" on plant information page 
  • Dormant Bulbs, Tubers and Bare-root perennials come either bagged or wrapped without a pot

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall.
