Tender shrub with arching sprays of pretty lilac flowers with white edges in summer, followed by yellow-orange fruit. Best grown in a pot so you can control its size and will need a conservatory or greenhouse over winter but can be stood out for the summer. Feed every 2 weeks in summer. Can be hard pruned in late winter-spring if desired. CAUTION UNRIPE FRUITS ARE TOXIC
