A small tree or large shrub famed for its large fragrant golden yellow fruits which ripen in the autumn. Famously used in Quince Jelly, but can be used in pies, tarts etc. Full sun in normal well-drained soil. 2 year old bush form.

The attractive cherry-sized deep red fruit can persist into the winter for birds to enjoy, but you can pick some to make into delicious jellies and jams.
