Jolly little foliage plant with beetroot coloured leaves, with broad shocking pink veins. Great for summer bedding, or as a pot plant indoors. Pinch back regularly to keep a nice bushy shape otherwise they can tend to get leggy (you won't miss the flowers they are insignificant). Grow in a loam based compost and position somewhere with good light but shaded from very hot sun. Used with the yellow leaved variety (aureoreticulata) in the Madeira Botanical Gardens.
