Iris ensata 'Murasame'

Common Name:
Plant Family: Iridaceae
Plant Type: Hardy Perennial

A beautiful Iris, the large flowers appear in July and August, purple tastefully streaked with white. Will grow in moist to boggy soil, but avoid planting where the rhizomes are likely to be covered in water in the winter, as this will cause rotting.
