Moisture loving Iris, suitable for the bog garden or pond margin in shallow water. Each stem carries 3-4 flowers with violet-purple standards and falls which are whitish at the base, with a yellow flash and dark veins. May to June. A hybrid of I. versicolor and I. virginica.
