** Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 Bank Holiday - Mail Order Deliveries **

Due to the first week in June being a 3 day working week we are planning to suspend dispatching plants during that week. We will do our best to get any existing orders sent this coming week (commencing 23rd MAY).  Orders received after 20th May could be subject to delay as our courier is expecting the following week (commencing 6th June) to be very busy.

If your order is urgent please let us know and we will see what we can do.

Aloysia triphylla- Lemon Verbena

Common Name: Lemon Verbena
Plant Family: Verbenaceae
Plant Type: Half-Hardy Shrub

Buy 6 or more Tender and half-hardy plants online and get 20% off

This shrub has highly aromatic leaves which have a strong lemon scent when crushed. The leaves can be use in many recipes including herbal tea and a delicious lemon sponge cake! Otherwise just enjoy the fragrance as you brush past the leaves in the garden. Keep trimmed to encourage more fresh foliage foliage. May be late to break into growth in spring. This plant is best grown in a pot so you can move it into a greenhouse or conservatory over winter as it is not very hardy but it may be ok in the milder and dryer parts of the UK.
