A compact variety of sugar-snap only growing to 65cm tall but still heavy cropping and has a great flavour. Ideal for smaller spaces.
Take out a shallow trench about 6" (15 cm ) wide. Space seeds 2" (5cm) apart with 60cm between rows, then cover over with soil and gently tamp down with the back of a rake.
Cover with netting to stop bird digging up the seed or pecking the seedlings. Provide some support for the plants to climb up. Their tendrils will need something to cling to. Twiggy sticks are best, netting should be avoided as it is a hazard to wildlife.
Harvest May onwards.
