Spreading perennial with small pointed, dark green leaves with a red margin and a brown chevron. The whole leaf turns reddish as the summer progresses. Grow in moist, well drained soil in sun to part shade. Good ground cover. Spreads indefinitely.

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall
