Attractive all year round, this evergreen shrub has colourful white and green variegated foliage which contrasts with the bright red young leaves. In late spring sprays of delicate white flowers add to the display. This needs acid soil, but if soil conditions are not suitable it makes an excellent container plant.

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall
