Tender evergreen shrub with mint scented leaves and masses of purple flowers in May to June. Grow in a pot in loam compost with lots of grit mixed in. Trim to shape after flowering and remove dead growth in spring.

These are in flower, about 2 foot tall plus, and are best collected from the nursery.

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall.
