Deservedly popular self-fertile variety. Masses of sweet fruit for cooking or eating fresh ripening August-September. Very heavy fruit set is best thinned when fruit are pea-sized - remove about a quarter. Pick when the fruit 'gives' a bit & comes away easily. Half-standard.
