Cow parsley relative with lovely divided leaves and large, flattened umbels of white flowers in late summer-autumn. Makes an impresive specimen, growing to around 1.8m (6ft). The Plantsman E.A Bowles called it "..the queen of all umbellifers...the most beautiful of all fern-leaved plants." For moist, well drained soil in sun/ part shade. Good for a wild garden. Attracts bees and butterflies.
