An unusual perennial with upright stems topped with bright yellow flowers which attract insects. The hairy glaucous grey leaves reach over a foot long. Drought tolerant. Makes spreading clumps so needs a bit of space.

Related to the common ragwort so to be safe, keep away from horses.
