An upright clump forming grass with very fine narrow foliage, enhanced by soft feather flower panicles in summer giving a light airy effect, moving with the lightest breeze. Grow in well drained soil in full sun. Divide in early summer. Although not evergreen the leaves do remain over the winter just turning a straw colour
