An excellent deciduous tree/large shrub for a small garden. Delicate white flowers in spring followed by dark red fruits which are loved by birds. Orange-red autumn leaves give a long season of interest. Acid to neutral soil best, in sun to part shade.

Unusually for a Cotoneaster, this large arching semi-evergreen shrub or small tree has creamy yellow berries instead of red. Masses of white flowers which precede the berries are a magnet for bees & other pollinators, the berries will attract birds.

A medium size tree, useful for its blossom, which will pollinate other apples and attracts bees. The attractive cherry-sized deep red fruit can persist into the winter for birds to enjoy, but you can pick some to make into delicious jellies and jams. Half-standard.
