Tradescantia pallida

Common Name: Purple-heart spiderwort
Plant Family: Commelinaceae
Plant Type: Tender Perennial

A different form of these popular and easy to grow, semi-trailing indoor plants. It has a spreading habit so best in a large pot or bowl or hanging basket. This is the grey/green leaved form of T. pallida 'Purpurea', not often offered for sale and a nice contrast. Keep away from very hot sun but in good light to keep leaf colour. Trim back if plants become leggy & divide in spring if needed.
